On Saturday 16th July, Woodchurch Stars JFC will be holding a summer fair at Woodchurch Community Centre 12.30 to 2.30. Attractions include,

All in all it promises to be a great event so why not pop down and join in the fun.
Tomorrow Colas will be starting work to improve the junction of Upton Road and Noctorum Avenue near Upton Station. As well as improvements to the layout of the junction, traffic lights will be installed thus aiding the flow of traffic which especially during peak times when it can be difficult turning in and out of Noctorum Avenue. The work will take around 10 weeks during which delays can be expected.
Pavements in several parts of Arrowe Park and Upton are scheduled to be reconstructed as part of a program to upgrade the pavement and road network.
As part of the program residents who do not have vehicular access to their property will be offered the opportunity to have crossings constructed at a discounted rate, [Read more...]

Work is due to start shortly on improvements to the junction with the Asda store and Woodchurch Road.
Part of a bigger scheme which will see traffic lights installed on the M53 roundabout, improved drainage under the metal bridge and a cycle lane, the improved junction will allow traffic to turn right out of Asda onto Woodchurch Road, instead of having to turn left and go round the M53 roundabout.
